Al Ittihad Jeddah (SBL) signed 33-year old American international forward Jarell Eddie (201cm-100kg-1991, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) for upcoming 2025-26 season. Eddie played this summer at Team Diesel (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In only one TBT game just recently he recorded 12 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist. Eddie also played for Santeros (BSN) in Puerto Rican league where in 10 games he had 14.8ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.1apg. He was called to USA Senior National Team this year.
Eddie is quite experienced player. He has played in eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Eddie has played previously professionally in France (SIG Strasbourg), Greece (Peristeri), Romania (Cluj Napoca), Spain (UCAM and Burgos), Turkey (Fenerbahce and Konyaspor), NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns and Washington Wizards), NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Windy City Bulls) and The Basketball Tournament (GCG and Gutter Cats).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Romanian League championship title in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Honorable Mention back in 2020.
Eddie graduated from Virginia Tech University in 2014 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
